The fun I'll be having

If I were to go into options....

Reuters --On Monday, options analysts and traders said some speculators had pinned their hopes on a windfall from a hoped-for jump in Commerce shares fueled by possible takeover speculation. They snapped up October call options allowing them to buy Commerce shares at $42.50 each.

Toronto-Dominion's offer now represents just a modest 2.1 percent premium to Commerce's closing share price of $39.74 on Monday, dashing speculator hopes.

TD stock on Tuesday fell 5.6 percent to close $72.65 on the NYSE. Commerce shares, which are trading ex-dividend, slipped 14 cents to $39.47.
