Bachelor of Commerce and Finance V. BBA

When I found out I took the same accounting class in my second year (UToronto, #1 in CANADA) that my friend at Haas (UCBerkeley, #3 best undergrad business school in USA) is taking in his fourth year, I wondered, "what the hell?" Is there a difference between Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration. Surely, B.Comm is superior when it starts teaching business classes in first year, whereas in Haas, they are taught in only third and fourth year.
